Welcome to the newest website solely dedicated to the Youth in DC. More than just a descriptive term for DC residents under the age of 18, Youth In DC is a celebration, a movement, and an ongoing campaign to salute and support the many youth residents of the District of Columbia. Because of this, Youth in DC will soon host events, competitions, workshops, and sponsor various other activities geared towards helping the Youth in DC play hard, learn harder, and live happy.

As the newest initiative in Washington, DC, Youth in DC seeks to listen to, interact with, and provide a voice for all Youth in DC.

We Want Your AfterSchool Program!

Our initial campaign is to create a searchable online directory of AfterSchool & Out of School Programs in the DC, MD, VA area available for participation. To this end, we ask that all programs fill out and submit our "What's Cool After School" Program Form. This information will be featured here as well as within the "What's Cool After School" App created by Youth APPLab this past summer.
